Imagine your event in the heart of the boreal forest of Prince Albert National Park.  The Hawood Inn, overlooking beautiful Waskesiu Lake offers just the solution for a destination style meeting or social event, with three event spaces accommodating groups of up to 100 delegates.

The lobby boardroom provides a stunning view, and comfortably seats 12 persons.  

The Spruce River Room with natural light is ideal for groups of up to 60 persons at round tables.  

The rustically beautiful Kingsmere Hall with field stone fireplace and soaring ceiling height is perfect for weddings, banquets or larger meetings up to 100 persons.

With 33 guest rooms, many with two beds, 7 condos with 1 or 2 bedrooms, the hotel can easily accommodate your delegates or guests.  We can offer options for off-site accommodation as well.

Catering

The Hawood catering team is ready to help plan the perfect event.  Our catering menu highlights our home style cooking, including some locally sourced ingredients.

Private dinners may be arranged in MacKenzie’s Dining Room, one of our larger condos, or on our Rooftop deck.
The Hawood is Waskesiu’s off-site caterer as well, having catered to hundreds of events in the beautiful Waskesiu Community Centre, or the Recreation Hall.

Spring and summer events can be complemented by golf, boat tours, tennis, hiking, touring and shopping. Bring your retreat to Waskesiu’s Winter Wonderland and take advantage of reduced rates as well as free ski and snowshoe equipment, and the pristine quiet of our winter wonderland.
