Cross Country Ski Festival January 10-12, 2025

This action-packed weekend will feature a wine and appy's night, great ski events including a ski rally, and ski-venger trail, a guided ski with a Fresh Air Experience ambassador, lessons for those who are interested in getting into skiing, ski demos, indoor games, and outdoor activities, a Saturday dinner with entertainment and a Skiers breakfast on Sunday!  Astrophotography Weekend Package – January 31-Feb “One of the best ways to enjoy the living skies of Saskatchewan is after the sun goes down. The beauty of a dark, star-filled sky is a wonder to behold. Astrophotography is the art of capturing that experience and sharing it with others. If you want to learn how to capture that beauty please join us on the weekend of January 31-February 2 as we host a workshop and photo walk with Tim Yaworski, Saskatchewan’s @LivingSkyGuy. At the Saturday morning “Introduction to Astrophotography” workshop Tim will teach you the techniques, tips and tricks on how to get started in this style of photography. On Saturday evening you will drive to Paignton Beach to put your new skills into practice. For the rest of the weekend you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Prince Albert National Park as it wears its winter coat. The Hawood Inn offers you many ways to help make your winter nature getaway memorable. The workshop is aimed at photographers of all skill levels and covers photography with mirrorless/DSLR cameras as well as today’s powerful smartphones.
