Thanksgiving Feast
 Celebrate Thanksgiving in Waskesiu with a delicious buffet dinner at The Hawood Inn on October 11 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Capture the Stars Weekend | November 6-8
 Experience the dark skies of Prince Albert National Park with a stargazing getaway at the Hawood Inn in Waskesiu. Join Tim Yaworski - Living Sky Guy and Ron Waldron of Living Skies Stargazing for astrophotography workshops, solar viewing, an aurora presentation and a guided evening photo excursion with hot chocolate. Your package includes a two-night stay, Friday welcome reception with a cash bar, Saturday hot breakfast buffet, coffee and cookies, and access to the rooftop fire tables. $244 per person based on double occupancy or $389 per person for single occupancy. Creative Weekend
 Escape to Waskesiu for a weekend of creativity and inspiration at the Hawood Inn, November 13–15, 2026. Enjoy watercolour workshops with artist Tetiana Hrytsenko, writing workshops with author Cindy Folk, a Friday wine reception with storyteller and author Sharon Goldston Easton, plus plenty of time to read, write, create and connect. $279 per person, based on double occupancy, including a two-night stay, breakfasts, workshops, activities and a swag bag.

 Experience winter in Waskesiu at the 3rd Annual Hawood Inn Cross Country Ski & Winter Festival, January 15–17, 2027. After a sold-out event last year, we’re excited to welcome skiers and winter enthusiasts back for another unforgettable weekend in Prince Albert National Park. Your weekend package includes two nights’ accommodation at the Hawood Inn, along with activities, lessons, events and meals throughout the weekend. Enjoy cross-country ski events, a snowshoe stomp, a cozy warm-up shack with bannock and hot chocolate, Fresh Air Experience demos, a Friday reception, Saturday dinner with prizes and live entertainment, Sunday morning Skier’s Breakfast, Games Room Yoga and more. Co-hosted with Fresh Air Experience, the weekend is designed for a range of experience levels and is a great opportunity to get outside, meet fellow winter enthusiasts and experience Waskesiu at one of the most beautiful times of year.
